楊丹，出生於中湖南省邵陽市一個工人家庭，是個不折不扣的湘妹子。1991年楊丹考入北京廣播學院，1995年畢業進入央視一套擔任主持人，從那時算起到今年已經有22年。作為一個主播，楊丹在中國電視主持屆可謂常青樹，很少有人能在主持一個節目那麼久。多年來她努力工作敬職敬業，不斷提高主持水平，再加上靚麗的外形和清脆的嗓音，多次榮獲好評和嘉獎，曾獲得過年度氣象小姐稱號，深受廣大觀眾喜愛。

楊丹最初主持央視天氣預報節目時，青春靚麗的容顏，清脆好聽的聲音，給觀眾留下深刻的印象。歲月匆匆，楊丹在電視機前陪伴大家二十來年了，大眾眼裡楊丹的形象仿一直停留在二十來歲的時候。很難相信如今的楊丹已年過四十，看起來這二十年來幾乎沒什麼兩樣。她的顏值依然在線，身材漸漸成熟豐滿，可以稱得上凍齡女神。

更難能可貴的在於，生活中的楊丹十分低調，一邊相夫教子，一邊默默的做慈善。雖然她常常跟觀眾見面，但容易被大家忽略，也許這是她想要的生活。

　昨日，在福建新聞聯播後播出的《天氣預報》中，細心的市民發現氣象節目主持人換了一副新面孔。原來，榮獲2004年度中國氣象小姐的央視著名氣象節目主持人楊丹應省氣象影視中心的邀請，客串主持了昨日的福建天氣預報節目。本報記者采訪了她。

湘妹子楊丹1991年考入北京廣播學院播音系，1995年畢業後進入中國氣象局擔任氣象播音員。楊丹說能獲得2004年度的氣象小姐，可能是因為觀眾喜歡其自然的主持風格。談到自己主持節目時的著裝，楊丹笑著說有些是自己和同事到街上專賣店淘的「便宜」貨。看著身著黑色牛仔褲、黑色短袖襯衫、一襲長發、笑語連連的楊丹，確如著名氣象節目主持人、2004年度氣象先生宋英傑評價的一樣，是個有陽光雨露但沒有沙塵暴的春天的女孩。

由於氣象專業術語比較多，同觀眾理解有一些距離，楊丹說氣象節目要盡量說「人話」，也就是要盡量用那種家常話來做氣象節目，讓更多的觀眾能了解到有用的氣象信息。記者在隨後楊丹主持的福建氣象中，發現她僅用很短的時間就把本來很枯燥的氣象信息組織得很家常話，把未來幾天連續暴雨中出現的一個晴天說成是「陽光在15日給大家一個短暫的接觸」。葉誠攝影報道
