1938年十幾歲的小夥子Franklin在加州的Rickenbacker 吉他公司上班, 充滿想像力的小夥子喜歡創新設計自己夢想的吉他, 口無遮攔的他, 很自豪的把自己的設計在公司給同事們看, 傳到老闆耳中, Franklin被炒魷魚, 失掉了工作. 離開Rickenbacker 吉他公司的Franklin和好友Semie 開了一家吉他工作室, 因為他們都是虔誠的基督徒所以取名為Gospel和Mosrite ,他們的產品逐漸在樂師群中打出名聲, 替當時有名的Joe Maphis 手工打造了一把雙頸的吉他, 許多知名的西部鄉村歌手樂手也用他的手工製作琴, 包括後來非常紅的Barbara Mand,Kurt Con,Johnne ramone,joe maphis......

Gospel美國琴、聖馬卡吉他（他的名字不是聖馬卡而是聖馬卡吉他）大連的。有些水軍說聖馬可本就是國產品牌，我很無語，去X寶看了一下都是大連的聖馬卡吉他。
1、大連聖馬可工商信息是成立於14年，最早消息自稱為2010年。
2、我92年學琴就知道Gospel Classic，你和我說本來就是國產？
3、中國代工其實很不錯，很多進口品牌也是代工。但韓國人那種孔子是韓國的無恥，我是看不下去的。你一個大連公司信天主教還是聽到福音了？取的名字？
4、在我看來喬丹體育的商業廣告就是無恥的欺詐。多少80後都認為喬丹鞋是喬丹代言的？
Gospel吉他由福音音樂家 Semie和牧師Boatright創建於40年代，美國手工品牌。 並為當時有名的Joe Maphis（美國著名藍草音樂家） 手工打造了一把雙頸吉他而聞名。 Gospel手工吉他音量大，音色清澈透明，每把琴售價值高達7萬美元左右，其最具代表的製作型號為「La Portentosa」（西班牙文：奇特的、美妙的意思）。不幸的是，Boatright牧師遭到襲擊和殺害，Gospel手工吉他停止製作。【 Nirvana 樂隊已故主唱Kurt Con 曾使用的Gospel吉他價值13萬美金！】 Sugarfoot .Johnny Ramone 知名音樂家也是Gospel吉他忠實客戶。 近年來，隨著儲備的頂級木材減少、世界珍貴木料的限制砍伐，想定製一把美產 Gospel 手工吉他已經非常困難！
